Breaking Barriers through Education
Did you know that 129 million girls worldwide are out of school, held back by poverty, cultural barriers, and gender discrimination? In low-income countries, only 38% of girls complete secondary education, perpetuating cycles of poverty.
Here’s why this matters: when a woman receives an education, the impact is far-reaching. Studies show that women reinvest up to 90% of their income into their families and communities, compared to 30–40% by men. This means educating girls doesn’t just uplift individuals—it strengthens entire communities by improving health, education, and economic stability.
At The Mira Shoppe, we’re committed to being part of the solution. Through our donations, we proudly support:
🌟 The Citizens Foundation (TCF): Operating over 1,800 schools in underserved areas of Pakistan, bringing quality education to girls who need it most.
🌟 CAMFED (Campaign for Female Education): A global leader in advancing girl-centered education in Africa, CAMFED has supported more than 5.6 million girls to complete school and become changemakers in their communities.
Thanks to your purchases, we funded a year of education for 47 girls in 2024 or 8400+ school days. Together, we’re breaking barriers and building brighter futures—not just for girls but for everyone. Thank you for making this impact possible!
